1. Sketches become a part of the model
Above: material gives this simple cantilevering shape a bold but light presence.
In-Between: this sketch when imported into SketchUp appeared like a variation of the safety tactile design you see at railway stations near drop-offs or on edges of stairs. Thus I put this design close to drop off zones in the model.
Below: Material covers the curved walls of the underground workshop.
